Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib (Preventive and Social Medicine) is imparting health education at the Under graduate and Post graduate levels. From the day of its inception i.e. 1997 the department, on the academic platform, has endorsed 18 research scholars to whom M.D in Hifzan -e- Sehat degree has been awarded. The department is working in collaboration with District Health Administration to boost public and community health. The department of Tahaffuzi wa Samaji Tib devotedly participating in the Pulse Polio campaigns, Leprosy Eradication Campaigns, Hepatitis B Immunization Programmes and several other community health related programmes at local and district levels.

Established in the year 2000, the Department of Tashreeh-wa-Munafeul Aza is providing teaching and training in the subject Munafeul Aza (Medical Physiology) to Unani medical students, at undergraduate and post-graduate levels. . In the area of research, the thrust is on validating the theories and therapies of Unani Medicine using modern physiology as a tool.
